Here is what the corporate attorney can expect to do:

Focus on transactions related to the corporate goals and infrastructure supporting transactional activity
Evaluate Intellectual Property diligence for acquisition targets
Draft and negotiate agreements for licensing, foundry, open source, product development and technology acquisition
Prepare contracts which address complex IP issues
Work closely with all levels of the technical team to gather, understand and document innovations across a variety of disciplines
Work directly with engineering and executive management staff
Mold the form of strategic relationships to grow the company’s network
