Practice Manager

This individual typically reports to a mid-level manager or a Director, depending on the size of the company. Employers will look for the candidate to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field. The Practice Manager will have to have about 10 years of experience in the IT industry and will need extensive experience with project-management initiatives. This person should have excellent communication, customer service and analytical skills to be able to present the strategic plans to the team. The Developer/Programmer Analyst positions had an increase of 1.6% from 2006 to 2007 and the salary range for this position is: $88,000 - $119,000.
