Project Manager

This individual typically reports to a mid-level manager or a Director, depending on the size of the company. Employers will look for the candidate to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field. More and more companies are requiring the candidates to have a master’s degree and to have at least five years of IT related experience. The candidate will need to be well versed in the subject matter as well as having project management skills and to be able to communicate well. The Developer/Programmer Analyst positions had an increase of 1.6% from 2006 to 2007 and the salary range for this position is: $75,000 - $102,000.
