Staff Consultant

This individual typically reports to a mid-level manager or a Director, depending on the size of the company. Employers will look for the candidate to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field. This position will require the candidate to have two or more years of consulting experience and have two to three years of business experience. This person will need very good analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The Developer/Programmer Analyst positions had an increase of 1.5% from 2006 to 2007 and the salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $77,000.
