Systems Analyst

This individual typically reports to a mid-level manager or a Director, depending on the size of the company. Employers will look for the candidate to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field. This candidate should have at least five years or more of experience working with applications and operating systems. The analyst should have excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and to be able to communicate with other team members about the installation of both: hardware, software and maintenance of the system. The Project Manager positions had an increase of 2.5% from 2006 to 2007 and the salary range for this position is: $64,000 - $87,000.

Some responsibilities for the Systems Analyst include:

Installing, testing and accommodating application systems
Analyzing systems hardware and software to fixes and offer improvements
Write and translate detailed analysis to be used by the development team for applications development and implementation
